Matter

Strong Academic Outcomes That Prepare Students for Real Life

  • Ensure strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking

  • Prepare students for college, skilled trades, military service, or the workforce — with no single path favored over another

  • Use teaching methods and curriculum grounded in evidence, data, and professional expertise

  • Emphasize problem-solving, communication, and adaptability — skills students will use long after graduation

Safe, Supportive Schools Where Students Can Focus on Learning

  • Safe school environments that protect students’ physical and emotional well-being

  • Clear expectations and consistent behavior standards

  • Early, appropriate support so challenges don’t become crises

Responsible Stewardship of Taxpayer Dollars and Community Trust

  • Good budgeting means preparing for changes in enrollment, state funding, and costs—so the district isn’t forced into last-minute cuts or rushed decisions

  • Families deserve to be heard, and decisions should follow clear, consistent processes so outcomes feel fair, understandable, and earned—even when not everyone agrees

Why I’m Running

I got a terrific education here in the Falls that prepared me for higher education and the workplace.  I decided to run for School Board because I want today’s kids to have the same opportunities I had – and I believe our district deserves leaders who take the responsibility seriously and approach it with care, humility, and discipline.
